The project required the installation of a mountainous terrain on the second floor to showcase wildlife in their natural environment. Throughout a six-week period, our craftsmen were able to replicate the different environments to bring Scheels’ vision to reality.

For this installation the owner requested a durable, drivable surface that would add color, beauty, and luster to the floor. The finished floor provided the perfect aspect of all the owner’s requirements.

The owner had a structural floor that leaked into lower-level rooms. The color flake floor provided a cost-effective solution to repair the leak, adding a beautiful new surface without the cost of removing and replacing the structural floor.

Upper Patio

The homeowner was looking to improve the look of their existing upper patio. Concrete arts placed a Multileveled overlay of imprinted concrete over the existing Span-Crete precast planks, creating a warm multicolored finish.

The homeowner wanted to customize their driveway in a unique way.  Concrete Arts sandblasted the eagle outline into the concrete, colorizing the individual areas by hand using a permanent concrete dye to create the finished product.

Concrete Arts installed a permeable surface deck using individually laid bricks in a herringbone pattern and bordered each area with a 12-inch cast-in-place concrete border to meet the homeowner’s unique style.

Driveway
For this installation, the owner wanted to create a warm, inviting driveway. Two colors of revealed concrete were used to create the finished look, using light colors for the main areas while imprinting a darker stone pattern for the borders and accent areas.

The owner was looking for a simple and modern look for their teardrop patio. The area was imprinted with a seamless slate texture and an outer accent border was added to create warmth and tie it all together.

Private Residents

For this project, Concrete Arts used a sandstone pattern to imprint the sidewalk and added a slate texture to the borders. Each stone was individually stained using a concrete stain, and the joints were completed with a gray sealer that has a sanded texture to achieve the final look.

For this project, a bullnose was added to create a rounded overhang on the riser areas. A granite texture was used to imprint the tread areas, while the front edge and bullnose were finished with a sandscape finish to add a non-slip surface
